Oh my goodness what an adorable game! I was browsing Steam games the other day as they’re currently having their annual Christmas sale and stumbled across this game while browsing. If Stardew Valley, Pokemon, and Animal Crossing had a baby, THIS would be it! Honestly after a few days of playing, I think I like Ooblets even more than Animal Crossing. The dialogues with NPCs are super weird and quirky, you have dance battles against little creatures known as Ooblets and if you win, they fart out their seed and you can plant said seed into the ground to grow your own Ooblet of the same species. There’s farming, house building/customizing, quests, town development, fishing, traveling, and a bunch of other things to do. I’m obsessed. It’s definitely money well spent and a great casual game for anyone into the cozy gaming genre. Highly recommend! I won’t be over this game for a long while.
