Our little bee has flown home today. ♥ I feel a little bitter sweet. I’m happy she’s energized enough to leave us now, but also sad I didn’t get more time with her. She was absolutely precious. I would have loved to keep her around for awhile longer. I even got her a little bug house filled with moss and a cap of sugar water. She seemed so perfectly content taking little naps in the palm of my hand. I never realized just how many naps bees took or how adorable they look when they nap. Never once did she try to sting me. Even when she’d get a little startled, I think she always knew I was never going to hurt her. She’s a very smart girl.
