Today is the last day visiting our beloved Prince Edward Island. Feels weird to be leaving tomorrow. We’ve lived here 7 years and moved away last year. They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and I’m definitely feeling that. Hubby and I are thinking we may move back here in a few years once we have enough saved for a house downpayment. ❤️ It still feels like home, like we never left. I’m going to feel so homesick when we have to leave tomorrow. 😔
I wanted to get something to remember the island until we can return here, so I bought this beautiful limited first edition copy of Anne of Green Gables. I thought some of you guys might appreciate it. 😍 Only 10,000 of these have been printed, this one is #9513. The dust jacket is laser cut, the hardcover is textured and is foil stamped. The page edges are also gilded a soft orange color. Isn’t she pretty? 🥰
