As you’re welcomed into Aevisia’s private residence, a warm and inviting atmosphere envelops you. The air is filled with the soothing scents of jasmine and lavender, creating a sense of calm within the space. The warmth and flickering light from a fireplace cast a comforting glow on the wooden furnishings, which are adorned with soft textiles and cherished knickknacks, each telling a story of its own.
Your attention is drawn to a beautifully crafted plaque on the wall, proudly commending Aevisia’s service and development to the nearby village, dated January 2024. Its intricate carvings shimmer in the firelight, reflecting the dedication and love that Aevisia pours into her community. As you admire the plaque, you canโt help but wonder about the countless hours spent nurturing this enchanting place.
Surprisingly, the monarch of this magical village is none other than a cat, regal yet approachable, lounging gracefully on a plush cushion near the hearth. In place of a castle, there is a quaint, cozy cottage that feels alive with the spirit of its inhabitants. The walls are adorned with whimsical art and photographs of the village, showcasing the beauty of its landscapes and the joy of its people.
You glance out a nearby window, where the soft glow of twilight paints the sky in hues of orange and pink. The cottage, with its inviting glow, seems to beckon you deeper into its warmth. Who would have guessed that behind such a charming facade lies the heart of a kingdom led by a feline sovereign? As you take it all in, you realize you have entered a world filled with wonder and delight, where magic weaves through the very fabric of everyday life.

A little about me.
I hail from a small town in Canada. Working on this site is one of my favorite past times and something I’ve become rather passionate about. Webmastering was something I loved to do as a kid. I played a web-based pet game called Horseland back in 2005ish and users got their own pages they could customize with HTML. That was my introduction into the webmastering world. I eventually moved on to make a Piczo website (oh how I miss Piczo – I wonder how many of you remember it). I’ve always been quite into geeky things.
Professionally, my educational background is in graphic design and photography. I am also self taught in marketing, web design and web management as well; particularly WordPress.
Why did I make this place?
This website is everything I wish social media to be, plus more. It is fully a space in which I can express myself freely without fear of censorship. This space is wholly mine. It is my creative haven where I can write, design, talk with people, meet and follow others, and just generally be myself. I own most content on this website (with exception to a few graphics). I can choose who sees what, and when. But unlike most big tech social media sites, this one is personal and spirited, which is what drew me to the charm of what the small web is in the first place. The small web is highly about self expression and bringing personality and creativity back to the web, which was similarly to how we collectively were in the early days of the internet. If you’re interested to learn more about the small web movement, check out my small web subdomain!
My site has somewhat taken on a personality and world of its own as of 2024. I have restructured the site in preparation for more social implementations
I put a lot of love into this space and it is something I will continue to work on and improve over time. My hope is to inspire others to build their own creative spaces, and distance themselves from corrupt big tech platforms.
I hope you enjoy your stay here, and if you’d like to easily return, don’t forget to bookmark me in your web browser!
